<h1>Business Central On-Premise Connection Setup</h1>
<div class="trix-content"><p>This guide walks you through the steps to configure the RapidiConnector and connect your on-premise Business Central (BC) environment to Rapidi. Before you configure the connection in Rapidi, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind:</p><h3>Prerequisites</h3><ul><li>Business Central On-Premise installed and accessible</li><li>RapidiConnector installed on the BC server - please check the following <a href="https://us.myrapidi.com/wiki/installing_the_rapidiconnector">instructions</a>.&nbsp;</li><li>Admin access to Business Central and Rapidi.</li></ul><p>Connection Setup in myrapidi ( after the Rapidi connector has been successfully installed):<br><br></p><ul><li>Go to your Rapidi service → <strong>Connections</strong> → Choose MS Dynamics 365 BC (NAV) OData from the drop down list and click on <strong>New Connection</strong>.&nbsp;</li><li>Fill in the connection details as follows:</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Authentication Type</strong>: NTLM (windows local network)</li><li><strong>Server Connect</strong>: Specify the full path to your Business Central. For example, the URL would look like as follows:&nbsp; http://app01.lmn.lan:1541/BC_W9/ODataV4/Company('Demo%20Master').</li><li><strong>Company</strong>: Specify the Business Central company name ( e.g. Demo Master).</li><li><strong>UserID:</strong> Here you specify the userid (credentials) to access your Business Central instance.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Password:</strong> Here you specify the Password corresponding to the above UserID.</li><li><strong>Domain: </strong>Add your local domain ( e.g. LMN).</li><li><strong>Resource</strong>: leave blank.</li><li><strong>Metadata URL</strong>: Copy from the Server Connect and modify it -remove everything after OdataV4/ and add $metadata).See the following example: http://app01.lmn.lan:1541/BC_W9/ODataV4/$metadata.</li><li>Use SSL - leave unchecked.&nbsp;</li></ol><p>Then, save the connection and click on <strong>Test</strong> and afterwards on <strong>Read Design</strong> to read the full pages pages layout and metadata from Business Central.&nbsp;</p></div>
