This error occurs when when the same HubSpot record ID appears more than once within a single batch request sent to HubSpot. HubSpot enforces strict uniqueness of IDs within each batch call, and will reject the entire batch if any ID is duplicated - even if the duplicate carries different property values.
The REST service returned a status code that is not 20x - i.e. not OK - Status code received: 400 Bad Request Response body: {"status":"error","message":"Duplicate IDs found in batch input: [221226139968]. The transfer relies on the HubSpot record ID (stored in the ERP) to identify which HubSpot record to update. If the same HubSpot ID is stored against more than one BC record: for example, two BC customers that were mapped to the same HubSpot company, both records will be included in the same batch, causing the duplicate ID conflict.
Step 1 : Locate the duplicate in the ERP
In the ERP, open the Customer list and use the search/filter to look up the HubSpot ID field (the field that stores the HubSpot record ID on the customer card). Filter by the value 221226139968 and check how many customer records come up. If more than one customer appears with that same HubSpot ID, you have found the root cause.
Step 2 : Identify which record is correct
Compare the two (or more) BC customers that share the ID. Cross-reference with HubSpot by opening the HubSpot record 221226139968 directly and checking its name, email, and any other identifying properties. The BC customer whose details match the HubSpot record is the legitimate owner of that ID. The other BC record has the ID assigned incorrectly.
Step 3 : Check the ERP Change Log Entries
If the Change Log is enabled for the Customer table, this is the first place to check. Go to Change Log Entries and filter by table Customer and the field that stores the HubSpot ID. Look for entries on both affected customer records to see when that field was last written, what value was set, and whether it was done by a user manually or by an integration process.
