Transfers define how data is read from a source, mapped, and written to a destination. Transfer creation and editing is restricted to **test services** and **non-live transfers**.

### Transfers - Management

| Function | Description |
| --- | --- |
| ListTransfers | Search and list transfers in the current service |
| GetTransfer | Get full details for a specific transfer |
| CreateTransfer | Create a new transfer (test services only) |
| UpdateTransfer | Update transfer properties (description, connections, tables, enabled flag) |
| DeleteTransfer | Delete a transfer and all its configuration |
| RunTransfer | Run a transfer on demand and wait for completion |
| GetMessage | Poll for status messages on a running transfer |
| TerminateTransfer | Stop a transfer that is currently running |
| ActivateChanges | Apply all pending configuration changes to the live service |

### Transfers - Configuration Sections

| Section | Purpose |

| FieldList | Maps source fields to destination fields |
| TableLink | Defines the unique key(s) used to match source and destination records |
| FilterSource | Filters which records are read from the source |
| FilterDestination | Filters which records are matched in the destination |
| ActionFilter | Filters for action table delimitation |
| LinkFilterSource | Field links between main and sub-transfers (source side) |
| LinkFilterDestination | Field links between main and sub-transfers (destination side) |
| DefaultValue | Sets a fixed value on a destination field |
| Conversion | Maps specific source values to different destination values |
| SortingSource | Sorts source records before transfer |
| SortingDestination | Sorts destination records before matching |
| AttributeSource | Sets special read attributes on source fields |
| AttributeDestination | Sets special write attributes on destination fields |

| UpdateTransferSourceControl | Configure source control (incremental sync by timestamp or ID) |
| UpdateTransferActionsTable | Set the actions table name and control field |
| UpdateTransferTriggers | Set pre/post execution scripts on source and destination |
| UpdateTransferSpecialSetup | Set source/destination view names |
| EnableTransferLine | Enable an individual mapping line |
| DisableTransferLine | Disable an individual mapping line |
| DeleteTransferLine | Remove a line from any transfer section |
