No extra fields are required in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. All corresponding SFDC IDs will be stored in Rapidi configuration via the Link Storage functionality. However, it is recommended to use a timestamp field when transferring data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. The timestamp field is natively available in Salesforce, but in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, it will need to be published on the data entities, which will be used for integration purposes.
Add extra fields to the following objects in SFDC, whichever is applicable:
| SFDC Object | Fieldname | Data Type | Applicability | Remarks |
| Account | Legal_Entity__c | Picklist | Customer integration | Field that contains a list of abbreviations for the Finance Company name. Used to specify which is the Finance Company that this Account belongs to. Only needed if you have more than one Company in Finance. |
| Contact | Legal_Entity__c | Formula | Contact integration | Account.Legal_Entity__c. Only needed if you have more than one Company in Finance. |
| Opportunity | Legal_Entity__c | Formula | Opportunity integration | Account.Legal_Entity__c. Only needed if you have more than one Company in Finance. |
| Opportunity | OrderNumber__c | Text20 | Opportunity integration | Field to hold the Finance Sales Order number (automatically assigned in Finance and written back to the Opportunity in SFDC). |
