**Source Control** is how Rapidi does **delta sync** : _only pick up records that changed since the last successful run_.

### Fields in this section

- **Source Control Field** (e.g., `SystemModifiedAt`)
  - The _timestamp/sequence field_ Rapidi uses on the **source** to detect changes.
  - After a run, Rapidi stores the latest value it processed and uses it next time as the “watermark”.

- **Dest. Control Field** (optional)
  - Similar idea, but on the **destination** (less commonly used).
  - Often left empty unless you have a special pattern.

- **Commit Per**
  - How many records Rapidi writes before committing.
  - 200 **usually means “use default / all in one”** depending on setup.
  - Common production values: **200** (balances performance + safer partial commits).

- **Transferred Field** (optional)
  - Field where Rapidi can store/control the last transferred value per record (implementation-specific).
  - Often unused in basic setups.

- **Store New ID Field** (optional)
  - Used when the destination generates an ID on **Add** and you want to store it back (external ID patterns).

- **Source Mirror** (optional)
  - Used for “mirror”/replica patterns (keep a shadow copy. it behaves as a timestamp for those cases where timestamp fields cannot be published in any of the systems).
