Special Setup

Overview

 

The Special Setup is used only in connection reading or writing to Lotus Notes. You specify here the name of the view that should be used when reading or writing to Lotus Notes.

 

Source View Name:

If your Source Connection is Lotus Notes, then you must specify the name of the view to be used when reading from Lotus Notes here. The view in Lotus Notes can be programmed to filter data so that only part of the data is read. You can also sort the view on one or more field values if you need to read the data in a specific order.

 

Destination View Name:

If your Destination Connection is Lotus Notes, then you must specify the name of the view to be used when Rapidi tries to find documents/records in Lotus Notes here. The view in Lotus Notes can be programmed to filter data so that only part of the data is shown. You should include the fields that you have defined under "Table Link" as sorted columns in the view (in the same order as used under "Table Link").
