Runs

Overview

This is a view of all Runs that have been executed (the date, the time, service code, the source and destination, a description as well as if any errors occurred during a run).

• Datetime: Indicates the date and time of the run.
• Service Code: Indicates whether the Run was executed by the Scheduler (S) or run manually (M)
• Source: This shows which source data has been transferred from.
• Destination: This shows which destination data has been transferred to.
• Description: A text describing what the Log entry is all about.
  NOTE: The description text in red will indicate that there is an error in the log entry
• Duration of the Run: Total time the Run as taken
• Number of Log Entries: The total number of Log Entries in this specific Run
• Link to the Log Entries: Shortcut to the Log Entires of this Run
• Status: Icons indicating the status of the Run (Ok, Processing, Error)

Filtering/Search

The filtering menu will give you various options

• Date/time: chosen the to and from date fields will filter on the time interval. 
• Schedules: Clicking the "Schedules" icon will give you the possibility to search and filter on the name of the schedules.
• Group: Clicking the "Group" icon will give you the possibility to search and filter on the name of the group.
• Transfer: Clicking the "Transfers" icon will give you the possibility to search and filter on the name of the transfers.
• Source Connection: Clicking the "Source Connection" icon will give you the possibility to search and filter on a specific source.
• Destination Connection: Clicking the "Destination Connection" icon will give you the possibility to search and filter on a specific destination.
• Error: By choosing from the  "Error" dropdown menu lets you chose between seeing all the log entries containing errors or no errors.
• Search: Use the search field for text search.

Run Details

• Each Run shows information about the Date/time, the Service Code (S for Scheduler, M for Manually), Source, Destination, a description of the Run/Log Entry.
• To the far right there is the indication of the duration of the Run, the number of Log Entries in this specific Run, and finally, a shortcut to go to the Log entries of this Run via the 'Log' icon.
• Also, in the heading to the far right, there is a notification icon showing the status (ok, processing, error).
• You can view more details on the Run by expanding by clicking on the +/- icon.
• In the detail section, you have a list of the Log Entries with information about date/time, Transfer Code, Source, Destination, Description, a link to the RTI (if an RTI value is attached) via the 'RTI' icon and to the right a link to the specific Transfer via the 'Transfer' icon.
• You can expand each Log Entry by clicking on the +/- icon, you have information about:
  
  
  • Transfer Data:
    • Transfer: The Transfer code is shown here.
    • Subtransfer: If this Log entry is regarding a SubTransfer, the code of the SubTransfer will be shown here.
    • Source: This shows which connection data has been transferred from.
    • Destination: This shows which connection data has been transferred to.
    • Schedule: If the transfer is run using the Scheduler, then the Scheduler Code will be shown here.
    • Group: If you are running a Group of Transfers, the code of the Group will be shown here.
  • Message Codes
    
    • Is Error: If an error occurred during transfer: true, If no error occurred during transfer: false.
    • Time Used (Seconds): Total time used on the Transfer or Sub-Transfer (including time used on any Sub-Transfers, Scatter, or Gather below this Transfer) in seconds.
    • Log Type: This shows the log type.
    • Message Code: This shows the message code.
    • Service Code: Indicates whether the Run was executed by the Scheduler or run manually.
    • Filename: Filename and Path used. Filled in only for some FTP, FTAM, and File Communication Messages.
    • ID: Each entry gets a consecutive number.
    • Run Id: Each run has its specific id.
    • Run Type: Type of Run.
      
      
  • Statistics:
    Under the Statistics heading you will find some numbers regarding this run of the Transfer. These are only filled in for the Transfer Completed Log entry.

• • • Read Source: Number of Records read in Source Database.
    • Read Destination: Number of Records read in Destination Database.
    • Skipped Source: Number of records skipped when reading the Source Connection. Records are skipped if Filters are specified (only for Filters that are handled by Rapidi and not by the Database in question).
    • Read Action: Number of Action Records read.
    • Updated: This shows how many records there have been updated.
    • Inserted: This shows how many records there have been inserted or added.
    • Deleted: This shows how many records there have been deleted.
    • Initialized: Number of times this Transfer or Sub-Transfer was initialized.
      
      
  • Communication Statistics:
    - Under the Communication Statistics, you will find some numbers regarding the data transferred (bytes and packages) for this Transfer.
    - Those Log Entries are only generated after a successful Transfer is completed.
    - These statistics can help you optimize the data transfer with respect to the time used and the amount of data transferred over the internet.
    - The Numbers are specific to either the Source or the Destination side of the Transfer (see what Source or Destination is filled in).
    - If a RapidiConnector is running for that Connection, the figures will show the net amount of data sent (compressed and packed).

• • • Packages sent: This shows how many packages there have been sent. If the transfer runs in an optimized way (reading and writing several records at the same time), this figure will be substantially lower than the number of records read or written to the data source (system).
    • Bytes sent: This shows how many bytes there has been sent.
    • Packages received: This shows how many packages there have been received. If the transfer runs in an optimized way (reading and writing several records at the same time), this figure will be substantially lower than the number of records read or written to the data source (system).
    • Bytes received: This shows how many bytes there have been received.
